One of the newest businesses to open its doors in Downtown Cranford is ArteVino, an art studio that allows people to create their own masterpieces. The Cranford location is the second one to open after the concept originated in Hoboken. The Chief Artist and Manager at the Cranford location is Maggie Allen. Maggie has an Art degree from Pace and originally started at the Hoboken location a year ago. Maggie instructs the classes and also creates original paintings for the students to reproduce.
The studio can host a number of events including birthday parties, bachelorette parties, or corporate events. The space can fit up to 40 people for each class. Shortly after opening ArteVino had already booked children’s birthday parties and corporate events. They also get groups of friends and couples who head to the studio for something different to do on their nights out. The classes are held at night Thursday through Sunday, and there is also a brunch class held on Sundays. Eventually the studio plans to offer painting technique classes during the week. ArteVino is byo so people can bring beverages to enjoy while painting, and the studio also has a kitchen area so customers can also bring in food.
So whether you’re an aspiring artist or just looking for a fun evening activity, check out ArteVino. Its arrival in Downtown Cranford is just another reason that our downtown is so special and unique.
